Buddy – Elder Support & Daily Living Assistance

BangaloreFull-time, on-siteElderWorld Care Services
Qualification: Preference for graduates in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Hospitality, or any caregiving-related background (however, it is not mandatory)
Experience: 0–3 years in caregiving, hospitality, customer-facing roles, or social/community work preferred. Freshers are welcome. Full training will be provided

Role Overview

The Buddy at ElderWorld plays a central role in ensuring elders experience meaningful companionship, emotional comfort, and reliable day-to-day support. This position focuses on non-clinical care, including engagement, social interaction, on-site assistance, and smooth coordination with families and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Elder Support & Daily Companion Care
  • Provide daily companionship through conversations, engagement, and activities
  • Assist with reminders for meals, medications, hydration, and routines
  • Support with errands, grocery runs, or light organization
  • Ensure elders feel emotionally supported, respected, and heard
On-Site Assistance & Safety Monitoring
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of elder wellbeing and comfort
  • Provide mobility support or escort elders for short walks or appointments
  • Monitor for safety concerns and escalate when needed
Family Coordination & Communication
  • Share regular updates with families regarding daily activities, wellbeing, and concerns
  • Maintain accurate logs of visits, observations, and elder preferences
  • Build trust-based relationships with family stakeholders
Service Quality & Standards
  • Follow ElderWorld's care guidelines, ethics, and SOPs
  • Uphold high standards of punctuality, empathy, and professionalism
  • Participate in periodic training sessions and team reviews

Candidate Requirements

  • Warm, patient, reliable, and empathetic personality
  • Good communication skills in English. Preference for those who know local languages or are willing to learn
  • Ability to manage sensitive conversations with respect
  • Comfortable with flexible schedules based on elder needs

Business Operations Associate

Qualification: Graduate (background in operations, management, healthcare, hospitality, or related fields preferred)
Experience: 2+ years in operations, admin, customer service, or service delivery roles

Role Overview

The Business Operations Associate will support the end-to-end operations of ElderWorld, including scheduling, service coordination, client management, quality checks, and partner/vendor communication. The role ensures smooth execution of daily services across Buddy Care, Nursing, Transport, and Elder Experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Service Coordination
  • Manage automation and other systems to set up daily schedules for Buddies, caregivers, transport, and client visits
  • Coordinate service requests and ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and client records
Operational Efficiency & SOP Implementation
  • Assist in building and improving internal SOPs
  • Monitor adherence to service standards and protocols
  • Conduct periodic checks for service quality and client satisfaction
Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as an operational point-of-contact for families
  • Address concerns and resolve issues promptly
  • Liaise with vendors, partners, and service providers
Administrative & Backend Support
  • Track budgets, invoices, and operational expenses
  • Support leadership with data reports, internal dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling for Buddies as needed
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Events, Marketing, and Care Teams
  • Support event operations and elder outings when required
  • Assist in new service launches and expansion activities

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Empathy-driven work style and comfort working with elder populations
  • Proficiency in basic digital tools (Excel, CRM, WhatsApp, etc.)

Events Manager – Elder Experiences & Community Engagement

Experience: 2+ years in events, community engagement, hospitality, or program coordination

Role Overview

The Events Manager will lead the creation, planning, and execution of elder-friendly experiences, outings, group activities, and community events. The role ensures each event is designed with care, safety, accessibility, and joy at its center.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Concept Development
  • Ideate, research, and design elder-friendly activities and outings
  • Create monthly and quarterly event calendars
  • Develop safe, accessible venues and formats for elders
On-Ground Execution & Logistics
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics including transport, venue, food, and safety
  • Oversee event staffing — Buddies, volunteers, drivers, vendors
  • Ensure smooth coordination, punctuality, and risk management
Elder Engagement & Wellbeing
  • Interact warmly with participants to ensure comfort and inclusion
  • Adapt event flow based on elder needs and energy levels
  • Address concerns or safety issues in real-time
Vendor & Partner Management
  • Manage external partners including communities, cafes, therapists, artists, etc.
  • Negotiate rates and ensure high-quality service delivery
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain attendance logs, photos/videos (optional), and event reports
  • Track feedback to improve future events
  • Provide operational insights to leadership

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong event execution skills with people-first thinking

  • Sensitivity to elder comfort, pace, and safety

  • Comfort working some weekends or evenings depending on events
